The compact, elegantly designed Delta II's optimized performance capabilities take advantage of virtually 100% of the airflow offered by a high performance first stage. This optimum flow tuning technique dramatically improves control of performance-increasing comfort and decreasing air consumption. Before or during the dive, a twist of the adjustment knob enables complete control ... set the inhalation requirement to near zero if deep diving, or tune it for greater effort as conditions or preferences relax. Taking another stride beyond common second stage engineering, Oceanic designed a "Dynarnic Adjustment" valve into the heart of the Delta II that maintains a preferred breathing effort throughout a dive profile. Set it once and the Delta II automatically adjusts to make breathing as easy at 100 feet as it is at 30 feet-with no manual adjustment.
