This is a very clean 1983 Yamaha YZ250K racer. The bike is in great condition. The frame is straight, all the bearings are tight, the bars are straight. The clutch and front brake levers are like new, not bent. The bike seems like a much newer bike when it's running. I bought the bike to ride with my brother. He has a 2002 CR250. I did a pretty good job keeping up with him until the engine went. Truthfully the bike ran good. All you vintage racers know what I'm talking about. If you know how to rebuild engines, or have an engine for this bike, you would have a great bike. I just replaced the back tire with a Michelin knobby tire. I did have to put a gas needle valve in the carb, the old one was froze up and the bike was flooding. While I was in there I cleaned the carb really well. I have the Clymer book for the bike. 1974 Honda cr250m elsinore. Bike runs great. Has new piston kit. 95% of all hardware has been replaced. frame, engine, and exhaust has been blasted and painted with o.e.m. paint.Rebuilt Work Performence shocks. Suspention is two inches higher then stock in front and rear.
To many things have been done to list.
Needs a front number plate and handles bars are not o.e.m. Other then that bike is ready to be race,restored or recall the good old days. $4,000 and I will deliver within 150 miles of De Funiak, Fl or $ 3,750 and you come get it.
