MONARK QUESTION??? Did Monark ever build a 125 MX with the Sachs 'A' (non-radial head) motor? I just found one all original in a barn and I'm pretty sure it is NOT a 100 as it says 122 CM on data Plate. All info I've ever found shows the 'B' motor radial head engine in place. Possibly a 125 motor with a 100 kit on it? Can anyone advise me on what I've got here?---thanks --Az-Mike 623-465-0636

This is a nut and bolt restoration to museum quality, 1976 YZ250C, this bike has been in my family for 32 years and spent most of its life in storage. Frame was sandblasted primed and painted, every nut and bolt was cleaned then polished, Motor was repainted with high temp paint, gas tank was repainted, new decals were applied then clear coated. Seat, fenders, side covers, chain, sprockets, handlebars & controls, wheels, brakes, exhaust are ALL original and motor has never been boarded. This bike is 99% original. Parts replaced or repaired are mono shock & front fork seals were rebuilt, tires replaced, front number plate is NOT original, throttle and cable are after market. wheels were sanded and hand polished to mirror finish. 1979 PE175. I restored this PE a couple of seasons ago and have used it one time, during the Toronto Vintage Ride. It probably has less than 4 hours riding time on a completely rebuilt motor. Tim Taylor, formerly of Maryland, did a new top and bottom end. Everything on the bike was attended to or replaced, with the following exceptions: the fork seals should be replaced and I never checked the steering head or bearings. That\'s it. Tires were not replaced but were fine for me. I have all receipts and manuals. $850. 540-336-5906
